Dear Friends of the Briar Patch,
We hope each and every one of you had a wonderful and joyous Holiday season! We received 10 inches of snow here at the Briar Patch Inn over New Years Eve and felt the first embrace of the winter season! It was beautiful, serene and truly made it feel like we were beginning the New Year with a “clean slate”. Icicles adorn the roof edges, the snow has blanketed every tree, bush and path and the little red Pyracantha berries peak their heads out to say hello to the many birds fluttering around looking for food. Even our Saint Frances statue seemed to be decorated in the holiday spirit with a white beard and hat of white snow. The fires are also burning in all the cabins, scenting the air with the smell of Juniper and giving us all that warm and comforting feeling that winter is here and the New Year has brought tides of blessings and adventure. We look forward to what the New Year has to offer and to welcome new and old faces to the Briar Patch Inn to create more special memories and moments!
